Yanan Dai is an artist, author and art teacher; she believes Chinese ink is a great method to create a path to enhance self-awareness and achieve inner peace.

Yanan has published a series of books on art education, written in Chinese, the books encourage parents to embrace art with children and to deepen their understanding.

Yanan started Chinese Ink classes in 2017, her teaching style is very unique compare to the traditional Chinese art teaching.

Besides the techniques Yanan's teaching helps the learner to build personal connection to the Chinese culture and ancient wisdom from real Chinese people.

Yanan's students including both children and adult, her online teaching session (teaching in Mandarin) are highly demand among Chinese families. She works as visiting teacher at several public and private schools in Oregon.

Yanan also worked with public library, community center and local non profit organizations for workshops to build the awareness of Chinese culture and art.
